Appointment Types

The Practice offers a range of appointments dependent upon your needs.

Specific appointments for chronic disease management, sexual health, baby checks, health checks and family planning can also be pre-booked.

On The Day Appointments/Emergency Appointments/Triage System

The majority of Clinician appointments are book on the day. Patients can call at 8.30am for a morning appointment and at 2.00pm for an afternoon appointment. Appointments are released twice a day to maximise patient access and choice. Please note that one appointment is for one problem. If you have multiple problems please book a longer appointment.

Appointments with nursing staff and HCA’s may be booked in advance.

Your request for appointment may be assessed by our triage clinicians. Your details will be taken by a member of the reception team who will ask for a brief description of your problem. A clinician will return your call at which time you will be assessed and, if necessary, given an appointment.

Be seen by the Doctor of your choice

You are registered with the Medici Medical Practice, therefore you can see any Doctor or Nurse.

You may request to see a Doctor / Nurse of your choice. However, if this person is unavailable, you will be offered an appointment with another Doctor / Nurse or you can choose to wait until the Doctor / Nurse of your choice is available.
