The Practice offers a range of appointments dependant upon your needs. Routine appointments (10 minutes) can be pre-booked in advance with any Clinician, please contact the surgery on 0844 3878910 or 01582 343220.
Alternatively, you can book appointments via our Online Services.
You may be asked for brief details by the receptionist to enable them to advise you of the appropriate appointment for you. It may be that your query does not need to be dealt with by a doctor and you could be assisted by one of our Minor Illness Nurses or the Pharmacy for example.
If you are unable to keep your appointment for any reason, please call the surgery to cancel, or cancel online.
Appointments with GP Registrars may vary in length of consultation.
The Practice offers a range of appointments dependant upon your needs. Routine appointments (10 minutes) can be pre-booked in advance with any Clinician.
Specific appointments for chronic disease management, sexual health, baby checks, health checks and family planning can also be pre-booked.
You are registered with the Medici Medical Practice, therefore you can see any Doctor or Nurse.
You may request to see a Doctor / Nurse of your choice. However, if this person is unavailable, you will be offered an appointment with another Doctor / Nurse or you can choose to wait until the Doctor / Nurse of your choice is available.
Emergency appointments (5 minutes) are available Monday to Friday and need to be booked on the day. These appointments are available for conditions requiring urgent assessment and treatment, which cannot wait for a routine appointment and must be for 1 emergency concern only. You will be seen by the Duty Doctor or Duty Minor Illness Nurse.
As a result of positive feedback from our patients, we are now able to offer Saturday morning and evening openings.
The surgery extended hours will be:

Occasionally these days may be altered to allow for annual leave.
Appointments during these times will be for routine doctor appointments ONLY and will all be pre-bookable 4 weeks in advance. These clinics will not be available to deal with any emergencies, these will still be handled by Care UK.
During extended hours the surgery will be open for pre-booked appointments only.
Telephone lines will be open and it will be possible to deal with any enquiries, test results or booking of future appointments. If you wish to cancel an appointment please ring before 6.00pm on a weekday if possible or by using our online services.
All out of hours emergencies will be handled by Care UK, our out of hours provider.

The surgery will be closed between 12.30pm – 4.30pm. The surgery will re-open as normal at 4.30pm.
